Russia sets wheat export duty at 3,808.1 rbl/tn for Dec 5–12

MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wheat export duty will decrease to 3,808.1 rubles per tonne from 3,820.2 rubles, the barley duty will remain zero, and the corn duty will fall to 618.9 rubles from 642 rubles from December 5 through December 12, as seen by PRIME in the Agriculture Ministry’s materials on Friday.

The duty is calculated basing on the indicative prices of U.S. $253.2 per tonne of wheat, $169.5 per tonne of barley, and $189.1 per tonne of corn.

Since June 2021, Russia has been using a flexible system of grain duty calculation. In July 2022, the duty’s calculation was shifted to rubles.
